Transition into the weekend with nourishing restorative yoga as you let the stress of the week melt away. This class is all about getting cozy with bolsters, blankets, sandbags and other props to support your body and tap into the zone of "rest and digest." We’ll end with a guided meditation infused with healing reiki energy and a nice long savasana (resting pose) to soak it all in.
What is Restorative Yoga?
Restorative Yoga is the practice of yoga postures, that are held for a longer amount of time and are supported by props such as folded blankets, to relax the body and reduce stress.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is energetic technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. As Reiki flows through the body, it heals blocks that disrupt the natural flow. As blocks are released, healthy energy flow returns, bringing feelings of balance and lightness.
